What is MAIT?

We are a community of mental health professionals and relationship educators who support one another through trainings, seminars, and workshops that aim to deepen our expertise and promote personal and professional growth. We are united by a strong belief in the theory and practice of Imago Relationship Therapy (IRT) as a way of helping couples repair, deepen, and restore their connection in relationship. We aim to be inclusive and to be sure that all voices are heard.

Growing and Healing in Your Relationships

MAIT is committed to helping the public access the services of our skilled and caring members. We can help you Find a Therapist or Group Therapy, a Weekend Workshop, or a Relationship Education seminar. Some of these programs include the Getting the Love You Want workshop for couples, the Keeping the Love You Find workshop for singles, the Start Right, Stay Connected workshop for premarital couples, and the Couplehood seminars. All these programs are based on the international bestseller, Getting the Love You Want, by Harville Hendrix and Helen LaKelly Hunt.

Professional Development Opportunities

MAIT is also committed to supporting professional development and building a strong community of Imago Therapists and Educators. We encourage therapists of all disciplines and theoretical backgrounds to attend our trainings to learn more about Imago therapy. We offer outstanding educational trainings and events about Imago therapy and support professionals in becoming Imago Therapists, Imago Educators, and Imago Consultants.
