EXPLANATION OF "CERTIFICATIONS" Certified Imago Therapist A Certified Imago Therapist® has successfully completed the institute's required 96 hours of Basic Clinical Training in Imago Relationship Therapy. Advanced Imago Clinician A therapist with the designation Advanced Imago Clinician is a Certified Imago Therapist® who has, in addition, who has satisfactorily completed the necessary advanced trainings. Imago Workshop Presenter An Imago therapist with the designation Imago Workshop Presenter has completed specialized and extensive Imago training qualifying them to conduct workshops for the public, in addition to their private practice. Certified Imago Educator Imago Education Graduates completed the required 96 hour Imago Basic Clinical Training on the educational track, i.e. auditing courses for educational purposes only, with no certification issued. There is no requirement to be a licensed therapist. Certified Imago Consultant A Certified Imago Consultant has been trained in helping other therapists improve their skills in Imago Relationship Therapy The educational and experience requirements for the practice of therapy disciplines vary from state to state. Some states require licenses. Some do not. The Institute does not do an independent investigation to determine whether a particular certified therapist has met any state s requirements or have otherwise demonstrated competence in therapy. We do not investigate a therapist's character. We recommend that before choosing a therapist, you make sufficient inquiry to inform yourself about any individual therapist's credentials, character, and skills. |
